Buyer FAQ

Clear answers.No invented certainty.

The answer often depends on the product and route. These FAQs separate useful general answers from the commercial facts that need shipment-specific verification.

01 Can I see public prices?

Not yet. CeyLanka currently uses buyer-specific quotations because product specification, packing, freight, destination compliance, FX and other costs can materially change the commercial result.

02 Does CeyLanka guarantee stock or year-round availability?

No. Availability is verified against the actual sourcing route and requirement. Fresh produce, specific grades, varieties and processed forms can be seasonal or operationally constrained.

03 Are all products certified?

No blanket certification claim is made. Where certification matters, the certificate must be verified for the holder, facility, scope, product, issue/expiry dates and current validity.

04 Can you export to any country?

Destination eligibility depends on the product and current importing-country rules. Plant-health, food-safety, treatment, origin, customs and other conditions are checked for the specific route.

05 What information should I include in a Quote Request?

Include the product, form or variety where known, quantity, destination, intended use, packaging preference, target specification and any testing or documentation requirements.

06 What is a phytosanitary certificate?

It is a plant-health certificate issued through the official plant-protection authority for qualifying consignments against importing-country phytosanitary conditions. It is not a universal quality or food-safety certificate.

07 Do I always need a Certificate of Origin?

Not necessarily. The required origin document depends on the destination, buyer/documentary requirements and any applicable preference scheme. Some routes use certificates; applicable REX routes use a Statement on Origin after registration.

08 Can I order directly online?

Direct marketplace ordering is planned for products that become operationally repeatable. The current buyer route is product discovery followed by a structured Quote Request.
